Depending on what I need or want to accomplish that day, I change my thoughts. Sometimes when I know I will have a meeting that day and I need to feel confident. I will say things like, "I am confident and calm... I am confident and calm... I am confident and calm"
Give it a try and I promise you that your day will be better. My psychologist once told me, that one will see whatever they are looking for and thinking about. Our thoughts are very powerful and in fact play a good role on how your day will go. I also do this when I get scared before a presentation or an interview. I would say things like " I am smart and confident" repeatedly just before I get in. It calms my nerves, gives me a jolt of confidence and in the end doing well. When we are calm, we can think better and perform better. It's a win win situation so why not. Who does not want to be calm in an interview? Right?
I am not a professional by any means, I am just a regular employee trying to make it in the corporate office in hopes that someday I will achieve my bigger goals. I still have bigger dreams and I intend to achieve them all with positivity and hard work.
